I was just thinking the RL-P was rated around 500rms, and I thought the Q's were around there to. But after checking I saw they were rated at 1000rms. Maybe I was looking at another line from them. My bad
Also, I wonder which drivers are most efficient. It would be cool to see what each sub would do with about half their rated power.

No need to put such a concern on rated power, different manufacturers like to rate differently, some more conservative than others.

They are all fair game to test against each other IMO, as long as they are tested for the same application (SQL daily driver)

The only driver I know right now mentioned in the same price range is the RL-p.

tc2k is

-less than 15% more than the rlp

-around 20% more than the

I'd say its pretty close price wise.

I could see not including the mag(around 70% more than q) and the tc3000(around 50% more than q)....according to cost.

What about the q compared to an Rl-p type driver? Will there be any tests done on that? I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be very similar drivers. But I will need you input before knowing anything like that. So let me know if you got anything planned along those lines.

Yes, I realize the old mags and the Rl-p's were both very similiar drivers. Yes, the mags used to be made by Tc-sound and the rl-p's of course still are.

So why would it be wrong to compare an rl-p to one of your FI drivers?

i would like to see the head to head as well with all the hype about Q series. I may be bias, but the MAG is going to over come this bump in the road hehe.

Agreed. I think the Q Vs. the RL-p would be great.
Subs like the mags and the TC-3000 are rated with twice the power handling, and seem to be in a different price range than the RL-p and Q series drivers. But it would be great to see which would perform better in that price range. So my vote goes to the RL-p, Q series comparison.

isnt the Q the SQ model? Thats what it says on the page. I would like to see the BTL versus the MT and 9500 and L7's basically all the SPL monsters in a head to head comparison.
