confused?

i have an earthquake ph-d3 run at 1.4 ohms to a 15" MT. I dont think im getting all the power from the amp that i should be. it gets loud but with that much power it should be louder and the wierdest thing is my lights dont dim at all. i drive a 93 altima with factory battery and alternator. something doesnt seem right to me, let me know what you think...

I'd suggest that you drop the tuning! It's freaking HIGH! Tune it to around 30-45Hz. 40+ for pure SPL.

Hey Mike.....I build the box for this guy.....it's 7 cubes @ 41 hz....double baffle.

He's running a PH3-D3, and for some reason, even wired at 1.4 ohms, his lights dont' even dim at all.....that amp puts out around 4000 watts of power at that impedance....I don't know what the hell is going on.

But man that was a ***** to install....we had to take a reciprocating saw to the back of his seats and build that ****er in the trunk......was tough.
