Cone damage?

I love friends that mess up your stuff.

So I'm showing off the sub the FIRST day I have all of it installed, my friend decides to put his wallet in the cone, so it bounces around, then something metal comes out, I couldn't find it, but when I turned it off the cone had two dents in it that are about 1cm wide each, not very deep, but noticable all the same.

Very noticable in my opinion. I didn't notice a change in sound, and there is no 'buzz', however... what exactly will this do to my speaker? It's a 15" RL-p. I'm running it on about 800 watts.

he ****ed up your rl-p? kick that kids ***...

As long as the dust cap doesn't rattle or anything it'll be fine. One kid cut the dust cap off his w7 and posted pics on here... pretty weird looking.

yea i saw that w7 with the "custom duscap" lol

but i would RIP HIS HEART OUT, and feed it back to him.

same thing happened with my Infinity Perfect VQ. My friend just had to put his knuckle on the cone while it was moving.. me want kill him.
