i got a hp pavillion dv6000

Then its got an SPDIF right on the front next to the headphone and mic inputs just under the mouse pad.

SPDIF can be used as optical sound output. Its got a little adapter kind of like a 3.5mm headphone, but its not.

how exactly do "YOU" install a pci card into a laptop? i wanna see a video of this i can win 1st prize for the darwin awards with it lulz

Edit: I believe there are also USB sound card options.

After the rcas to the tv get and infrared cable back down to the reciever so it will stay in 5.1
