If its coming out of the video card, for some reason I highly doubt sound will come out lol. However since its a laptop it may be a different story.

You will need to hook a 1/8 inch to rca cable to the headphone jack to get the soudn

That is what I did, there is a headphone to phono cable I use. I got a cheap one from radio shack and one from walmart so check those 2 places. Its a quick solution
