Computer Monitor

I am in the market for a monitor to my computer. It is very dim and can't see on it very well. I was thinking of going to an LCD type and I would enjoy having the extra room. What should I look for as far as spec goes? I want to spend around $225. I will buy another CRT but I kinda want to be somewhat up to date.

I have looked at this one but I don't know if it is good or not.

It has a pretty good warrenty and samsung makes good products.
