This used to happen to my computer and it was due to heat issues. Make sure you clean out the dust and that it's well ventilated.

Give more info!!!! specs, laptop/desktop, how long before it shuts down, anything else you notice?

it's most likely b/c of heat. but if you can. most ppl dont do this. even though they should. but dont know about it. use a restart point from b4 the computer started messing up man. sometimes a fan in the computer has just went out. does it do it when u open a certain program or anything like that?

most likely over heated but you can take a can of caned air and spray all the dust and shit out of the inside of your computer that should help if not then add another fan too it and that should help as well

Will not work anymore use to work back with 98 but they fixed that with me and beyond. Sounds like your power supply could be on the it's last legs and it is time for a new one. Or it could just be that you need to clean the dust out of the case.

This or the overheating thing others have mentioned. Try an air duster first and go from there.
