Computer internet question

6mbps is a good connection, I personally would just go with that. If you are a hardcore gamer and getting that absolutely lowest latency in games is important to you then go with the 8mbps.

take it from me,

comcast offers 6mbps, 8, and 16 speeds in my area.

i was on 6, and went to 16 when i became an employee

my downloads were going anywhere from 50-150 kb/ps on average, sometimes hitting 200 or 250, but rarely. i found out i had old cable lines.

tech came and replaced cable lines, got on 16 meg service, i now download video clips at 1-2,000 kb/s (2 megs a sec down stream)

speed tests put me at 17-18,000kbps
