Its got to be something simple I am over looking but. I have a Dell E1505. The graphics are fantastic except on IE. The fonts look good but the pictures and graphics are not good at all. Someone help me out. Its pissing me off. I know this computer is capable of better. One time I did an update and the graphics were fine. But then I had to do a restore due to a driver conflict with my DVD player. Go to http://www.nvidia.com to update geforce video card drivers. Go to http://ati.amd.com/ if you have an ati video card. To check what kind you have right click on the desktop, go to properties and settings tab on top. It should tell you there.

Sometimes Dell uses slightly modified video cards, so I would get the drivers straight from Dell's support website.

And what if he doesn't have any graphics drivers installed at all ? Not to mention he's running an Intel GMA 950 (Google it next time ?) ...
Are you on dial-up by any chance or using web accelerator software ?

Is it installed correctly? check device manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc) See if there is a yellow circle next to the graphics card. Your fix could be as easy as doing a right click - update driver also.

Thanks everyone for the help but still no luck. Everything else graphics wise is great. Its just Internet Explorer. I still think its just a setting Im over looking.

In IE make sure under view you are at medium on text size and encoding is at auto-select. Have you tried another browser? same issue?

Changed it but it didn't make any diff. Right now IE is the only browser I have. I may try another later but I just don't have time right now. Wifes yelling at me. Gotta go finish getting the kids ready and head to work myself.

OK kids and wife are gone. I put firefox on and its pretty as a picture. So that tells me its something in IE. But its my turn to leave so I will check back this P.M.
