you dont clear the bios...you clear the cmos, should be 2 pins on the board and touch a screw driver to it.
AM2, and AM2+, and they're 940 pin. 754 went the way of buffalo long ago. It didn't even have PCIe support...no my vid card stopped working, then we put my friends in, both were AGP x8s. his worked with my PC it booted up. mine didnt. so i figured it was that. bought a new one.
went to go put the new one in, and still doesnt work. i have no similar MB so i might have to end buying one, but now they rarely sell 939 socket. its all 754 socket or AM1 and AM2.
Wow. You'd sell that to someone for $1700? What an *******.Ill sell you a computer for 1700.

IRQ conflicts are pretty much non-existent these days. With the newer technologies we have now, IRQ handling is much improved. Not to say that these issues are non-existent, just unlikely. Especially, when his problem apparently popped up out of nowhere, without how making any changed. With the removal of low bandwidth, high latency devices, it's possible for the BIOS to handle much more information on a single channel than it was back in the P3 days.where does it get to on the mobo. you may have an irq conflict that was created when you put the friends card in.
