Comps

the JL's are really nice for that price range
my jl 653 set didnt like 85 watts thrown at it in the least (rated at 70 watts) and they really arent for jamming they lose clarity at higher volumes which is what they are pretty good for. i dont know retail pricing of beyma but if you want a loud clean set of comps even their "entry level" set jams .

Image Dynamics CSX-64 Chameleons. I just installed some in my friend's car and they sound amazing. Definately sound better than the Focal 165V2's Polyglass I used to own. And 150Wx2 at 4 ohms is perfect for those. You can pick up a set for about $300. The mids are about 6.75 inches so they're a little bigger than 6.5 and **** they are heavy. They weigh as much as most 8-inch subs. The tweeters are silk, and they are big too, around 2 inches.
