comps and 6 1/2" question

alright i was wondering what you guy's think i should do with my mid's and high's setup in my car. this is all opinion based with a reason why after your opinion any help is welcom. alright i am running a pair of 5 1/4" canton componet's in kick panels with a pair of MB quart 6 1/2" midbass speaker's in the back doors. now i plan on running them off of a 600.4 once i get the 2nd set of RCA's(currently canton's are on a rf120.2 and mb's off h/u). so my question is should i run both set's of speaker's with 75 watts rms per speaker, or should i run just the canton componet's with 75 watts to each tweeter and 75 watts to each 5 1/4" midbass speaker?? any help is appreciated, oh and yes the componet's can handle that power.

depending on the rms of the 6.5s id amp them all but im not in to that front staging stuff like alot of these other guys now if the rms dont match thats another story

well i still dont know about it. my mb's don't sound as crisp as the canton's do i need more expert advice though.

mb's are great speakers if they can handle the load but dont sound good to you find something that does.now if your set on them try them every way you can

well it isn't that they dont' sound good, they sound great it's just not as good as my comps. i dunno maybe i'll just run them off my 120.2

usually components are going to sound better than coaxals....are those mb quarts very bright?

to be honest they really aren't that bright. although they really are overpowered by my canton's simply b/c they are powered by an amp and the mb's aren't. now those mb's amped might be a dif. story.

honestly they are great componet's just way and i mean WAY to bright for my listening taste's.

better than the bass from a pair of polk audio 6 1/2"s hehe. anyway if your interested i am goin to be selling those 6 1/2"s and taking loyd's suggestion getting a custom center console with prolly a pair of 8" woofer's in it. so if you are interested let me know.
