And ATM, no I don't have a proper EQ. Just making due with what I have... if it sounds uber shitty with a 5 band I'll just put the XT25's back in till I get a dual 31 band.

BTW....those domes are a PITA to fit back into that tiny *** little gap without rubbing the VC horribly, and aligning them correctly. Took the compression drivers to my CH1's apart few times.

BTW....those domes are a PITA to fit back into that tiny *** little gap without rubbing the VC horribly, and aligning them correctly. Took the compression drivers to my CH1's apart few times.

These have a small machined part that... SEEMED atleast... to fith the diaphram perfectly... maybe not, we'll see when I get them in.

The DE500's HAVE to be what ID based the neos off of unless the are using something other than B&C now, because it's the only neo 1" CD they offer IIRC.

I ordered the ID full body horns as I doubt anything I molded would do that good of a job.

That and the looks are nearly identical IIRC (been a while since I've seen a pic of the ID neo, but I remember the neo B&C looking just like the neo ID).

But ID, that I've seen, has neither confirmed nor denied it. All I've ever seen Matt say is that "they're not the same"....meaning ID probably had them slightly modified (in my estimation).

Either way.....nothing but praise is what I've heard about the ID neo's....so those should sound spectacular. I've honestly debated about doing the exact same thing you just did....buying the B&C Neo's and a full bodied ID horn.
