is the amp going to be bridged into 2 channels? depending on how you want your installation.... how much power you have?

Comps will sound better but need some power to do it. At least 50 real watts, if you have less power save your money, buy coaxes.

I have a pair of pioneer or alpine type s 6 1/2 speakers that I could sell to you. I'm asking $50+shipping. Let me know if your interested should sound pretty good off that many watts. They are 4 ohm too.

No, no bridging. I'm either going to run 2 sets of comps, or 4 coax. I have a 4dr blazer, and i'm trying to keep sound in all 4drs. I carry alot of people with me (I know rear stage is not needed). Bridge the amp, and get a decent set of comps for up front... Then, run stock speakers or coax speakers in the rear off the head unit...

well if you arent going to bridge, i reccomend just 2 sets of coaxes.

] although the bridge + HU power reccomendation would do nicely as well.

just run coaxials since you don't seem to be worried about imaging.

I'd go 4 coax's. Look at JBL GTO's as they get pretty loud off low power and have a nice sound to them. Look for speakers with a high dB efficiency rating...
