Ill be running a ppi 900.4 amp with my next component speakers. I currently have some older alpine type r comps. Im looking at the the following three.

JBL P660c

Image Dynamics CTX-6.5cs

Massive Audio CK6V

I will be running passive. Doors have been deadened.

Been out of the audio game so any help would be appreciated.

CK6V is discontinued and unavailable unless someone's selling a used set. The current model is CK6X, and you want that over the V. I would not put the P660C set on a P900.4. It can be done, but at greater risk of causing damage from too much power. No opinion on the ID set.

Do you plan to use a subwoofer as well?

On your list I can get you the P660C set or the replacement to the CK6V set, CK6X. If the budget could go up a bit the CDT CL-61 set comes into play.

Your amp is fine for the front speakers. When you're ready to upgrade I have PPI amps in stock, including the P900.4.

Well I decided that to spend a little more funds. Buying the MS-62C today. So now my dilema is an amp. I will be getting a SA-8 for my sub in a few weeks. Trying to decide to get a 4ch amp and bridge two channels to run the sub. But my understanding is that the sa-8 loves the power. Still on a budget so would a ppi 900.4 be suitable or should I run a 2ch amp for the fronts and mono amp for the sundown?

You have to have a 4 ohm load to bridge the rear channels of most 4 channel amps, including the P900.4. This means you need the dual 2 ohm version of the SA-8 V2. If you got the dual 4 ohm version you could get a pair of PPI iON amps and come out at about $250 together. You'd get 650W for the sub instead of 450W. I always prefer to run extra power to a sub rather than less than RMS.

As an aside, I could make a killer bundle on the amps and the speakers and it would all ship today.

It probably depends on the sensitivity of subwoofer and your needs. I have been happy with PPI P900.4 bridged powering a 12 inch sub in a sealed box. Most of the time, the amp probably never broke a sweat because I hardly ever listen rap or say other synthetic bass music, and when I do I still thought I had enough bass. Maybe you should get the mono P1000.1 if you want to get the most SPL out of your subwoofer.
