Since you have dual 4ohm, wire the speaker itself in parallel and wire the two speakers together in series. That will give you 2ohms per speaker and 4 ohms total. The JBL 1200.1 puts out 600W at 4ohms, and since the Type R's are suggested to run at 300W each, it seems like that would be a viable combination.

You could wire everything in parallel too and get a final 1ohm load and use the JBL 600.1, but I'm not 100% sure that it's stable at 1ohm. they both work at 1 ohm, but it doesnt last forever... it says that it can take a minimum of 1 ohm in the manual but it does seem to get hot if you over due it. its worth a try but just remember not to overdue it.
