no he probably wasn't pushing the MT to the max. You have to look at enclosure, electrical, and wattage to the sub before you say the sub was pushed to the max.

I know MT's are not for SQ in any sense, but how bad would hip-hop sound on a MT? Just wondering not tryin to steal the thread. I heard they sound horrible but most just talk out their A$$. I have read here that if they are installed and tuned right (28 hz?) then they don't sound half bad.

If your refereing to NG, he was using a 20.1 last time I heard. Before that I believe he was using 2 modded MTX's (I remember to much random shit).

They are calling you a noob because RE MT's have been a dominate force in SPL this year, the finals were an RE MT showcase. And you're here asking if they stand up to competition....

Bamaboy did, yes MT's can sound quite good in a properly designed box

People talk out there ***. MT's sound fine and dandy. I've been using mine daily for over 6months and love it. You probably won't get flat response, and score perfect on an RTA in a SQ contest...but it's sounds fine...
