Competion perhaps?

Ok I don't want anyone to think that by me asking this question I think my setup is super loud by any means. Only reason why I'm asking is because I don't really read about anyone around this site competing with Alpine subs or amps. So I don't need any slack from any of the arrogant bonehuggers around here. But anyways, does anyone think my Type X's could possibly compete? I know they would need more power for starters. But given the right amount of juice to drive them does anyone think they could become competion subs? Or has anyone won or at least placed in a competion with Alpine subs or amps?

you could find better competition subs for the what the X's cost. but since you already have them id say run 1kw to each and see how they do.
