Compatibility question + more..

I have a friend who is interested in buying a RE XXX 15" sub -- either dual 2 ohm or quad 4 ohm. He wants to know if a HiFonics Brutus Bxi1606D (supposively 1600RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm) will suit this sub well? Also what specs of ported box do you recommend for this such sub? Power as well as sound quality is preferred.
