I'm not sure man, that is a really close call. The 9500's would be begging for more power. I've only had experience with the 8500, but I hear the 9500's get really loud for the money. I really have no first hand experience with the 9500's, so I am not sure. If I was you I would save the money and get the HDC's if your really worried about how loud they are, and then upgrade to 3000-4000 watts in the future.

I think I'm going to go with the 18" just for cost efficiency and should be plenty loud for now.

My friend has 2 SDC 2.5's 15's....strapped on a pair of AQ 1200D's, and its pretty F'en loud....In a SUV with subs up and port back...tuned to 34Hz...sounds awesome..

Go the SDC's if your only going to run 2200D

my bros 12" sdc2.5s are tuned to 34 and sound amazing.
