Am I correct in thinking that a passive 2-way component set, Cerwin Vega V-Max 65, will sound better than a pair of coaxial Pioneer 4-way? I want something that can handle my amp and I want to be able to just drop it in and go, so thats why I'm going with passive. And from what I have read a passive 3-way set is a waste of money so, if I can get better sound out of passive 2-way than a 4-way coaxial I want to do that.

never heard the vega's so i dont wanna tell you to buy them (or not too) but do some research before you order anything

No I dont own a pair, but they'll be much better than a 4-Way Pioneer coaxial.

I don't know of a better speaker than the Cerwins' at the price onlinecarstereo has them for currently.
