Is there a ton of drop off between alpines line of subs?

Is the type R a huge drop off of the type X?

Is the type E or S a huge drop off from the type R?

I am intersted in dual 2 ohm voice coils(2+2).

If you have experience with these post what you can about them.

The Type X is more geared toward SQ, The Type R is a mix of SQ/SPL, the Type E's and S's are both supposed to be pretty good entry level subs although i've never heard a Type S subwoofer. I'd go with the new Alpine Type R. I have the 122D and I love it, great sub.

X2 although one of my friends has went through 3 different Type-E subs in the past year..so idk about the durability of those
