comparison 10" concept to other brands

Hey, i got a bit of a hookup at this shop and the guy there offered me a concept brand 10" dvc sub model ex-10. this sub i think will work for what im after quite well. He is asking $200 canadian for it.

Im looking at the net and that is in the price range of a alpine type R or other subs. would this sub be better? worse? It would be nice to have a shop to bring the sub for warrenty if its needed.

Im just checking if I am being ripped off or if its a reasonable deal or any insight at all.
