Comparing Bass In Different Vehicles...

I recently transfered my system from my old caddy with a seat that doesn't come down, to a ford explorer. I have noticed a few changes with bass, and flex, I wanted to share them with ya'll and see what other experiences people have when switching their cars with the same system.

The main change I noticed, is the mid-bass is much more extreme in my SUV compared to the caddy. Also, the lows are more airy and not as intense as in the caddy. They cancel each other out so I am happy.

The other change I noticed, is there is much less rattle inside the car, but much more on the hatch. I kind of like the rattle on the outside because I don't hear it, and its REALLY loud, lol but thats just me wanting to turn heads.

definatly, the difference from my caddy is amazing, and nothing on my system has changed, lol

yea im using my friends subs with same amp and there is a big difference.his xterra was more on the highs and it didnt rattle on inside but on ouside...my corvette is more lows since hatchback and rattles on inside and bad on outside.

thanks for the input guys! I have one more question though, I have my box facing twoards the hatch, but if i were to fire the sub upwards, what would the differences be, or would it be the same?

The effects of rotating your sub box will be different in every car.
