I heard a jbl bp 1200.1 hooked up to a pair of jl audio 12w6v2 then the vibe 258 on them and I didnt notice anything that was a major difference. Although the jbl made the jl's hit with a cleaner sound...better sq. So for the cost is the lanzar that bad? They to me are a cost efficent amp that do close to what the claim more so then anyother cheap amp...I would really put lanzar in a class with mtx and pioneer. Any comments?

thats not true if they are in a sealed box and that l7 is in a ported it will out dew them 15's and it also depends on the wattage and the enclosure alot specs have to go into the project before you can determine what would be better but the 13.5 w7 out does both of my 15's massive dmx series i had 2 of them in a sealed box to big for ported enclosre i had one in a ported box and the jl out does it and then some same thing when i had both of them in there in a sealed box and i had a type rf x7 fosgat amp on them it all depends on the listener and what they want

i never heard brahma or re xxx would like to one day but that w7 i bought its just unreal it will do real good on spl even though they are pricey there are very good im impressed with it a personal opinion

Im a jl audio man, but I think the 12w7 is high priced also. I mean thats probably the main reason young (15-18) year old car audio lovers go the cheap way and buy sh*tty pyramid, legacy, or rockwood stuff. Its so cheap and they think its wonderful. Then they hear somthing like jl audio 12w3v2 and they are amazed. I would love to have 1 or 2 12w7's, but unless they are 300$ each im not gonna have any. Also does anyone know the price on the jl audio 8w7? Lol a 17lb 8inch woofer....unreal.

399.95 dude if you look around you can get a 12 w7 for around 400 i paid 800 form my 13.5 but i also got a box for it and my 2 15's where more than that im a jl man myself dude get a set of 10s or one of them in a high output jl box they rock dude

I want to find out the price on the new 8w7. It looks pretty bad ***. I have looked, but I cant find anything for a good price. I would go for a pair of 10w7's also. I just dont want to spend major amounts of money for a w7 when the shockers will do somewhere close to the same thing in the means of spl for a fraction of the cost.
