The jbl bp 1200.1 at 275$ 1200watts

Lanzar Vibe 248 1200 130$ 1200watts

Lanzar Vibe 258 1600 150$ 1600watts

Lanzar Vibe 268 170$ 2000watts

I heard a jbl bp 1200.1 hooked up to a pair of jl audio 12w6v2 then the vibe 258 on them and I didnt notice anything that was a major difference. Although the jbl made the jl's hit with a cleaner sound...better sq. So for the cost is the lanzar that bad? They to me are a cost efficent amp that do close to what the claim more so then anyother cheap amp...I would really put lanzar in a class with mtx and pioneer. Any comments?

mtx def in a higher class than lanzar.

Well I still have to say mtx in the same class for the most part, because my mtx 400watt amp doesnt do any more or less than the lanzar 400watt amp. I get the same output. Maybe the mtx is better because it can handle a lower ohm load. You wouldnt buy a lanzar amp for the price and power?

you ever benched test the 2 b/c i HIGHLY doubt you have done it correctly if you have done it at all. lanzar opti drive amps are the best they make the rest are junk just like everything else they make. jbl is a good cheap amp nothing more than that. and saying you noticed an Sq dif. is highly unlikely b/c the thd comparison between the jbl and lanzar is .1% on the jbl and most likely not more than 1% on the lanzar amp. either way lanzar is lower end audio.

I didnt mean sq sorry on that part. I meant the spl hit deeper. Like it had more eumph. I was simply wondering though could you get a lanzar vibe 258 for a daily driver and have it hit hardcore? Like people hear you 100feet away and more?

i would say with extreme confidence that the jbl is a MUCH MUCH better amp than the lanzer.

Oh yes of course the jbl is much better of an amp....just holding a 1ohm load is a better way to go. Im just asking though would the lanzar vibe 258 be ok for a daily driver to push a pair of shocker ss 15;s?

the shocker SS's aren't that good of a sub so yeah. you want i could sell ya my L7 15" that will blow the SS 15"s out of the water just an offer. or look at RE.

well actually in comments and comparisons they have said the shocker SS beats the L5 15 in spl..also the **** L7 15 has a huge f*cking rms level. The shocker takes less to run just like jl audio and the price difference....dude come on you have to give shocker the edge on that one....also its the best line of sub....not the ss, but shocker in general....hints they hold the most records...how much you want for the L7 out of curiosity?

200 shipped. oh and a direct quote from loyd is that the RE Se will piss all over the Shocker SS in SPL and SQ.

Hey man thats alot for a used kicker solo L7 seeing how I can get a pair of shocker SS 15's new for less shipped and they will blow the kicker away with less power. Now I never said Re wouldnt do better, but again compare the price man. Just basically saying compare things with the cost at mind. Yea if you want to spend 800$ to buy a 13w7 have at it and yes it will blow a shocker ss away, but not with cost in mind. No need for any hard feelings just trying to learn.

ummm no a pair of Shocker SS's won't out pound an L7. considering you can pump over 1.5kw to a single L7 15" and that owuld destroy the SS's no. only way it would be close is if you ran the same amount of power. and 200 shipped for a sub that was played for about 2 hours isn't bad for an L7 15".

well straight from ss3079 he says a pair of shocker ss 15's would blow the L7 15 away because of a pair of 15's will push more air and what not. Its ok just compairing dude.

i have a 13.5 w7 well worth the money i spent that much on 2 15 massive dmx and the jl kills them jl is pricey but very nice in both spl and sq im very impressed with my woofer im running a memphis mojo to it appox 1800 watts to that beast and its still barley moving great woofer if you got the doe thats the way to go

Yeah, personally, I'd rather go with a Brahma or an XXX, they will each take the W7 in SPL IMO, but SQ goes to the JL. I say the W7 isn't worth the $$$, if they lowered the price I'd definitely look into them though.
