companies that spread inccorect informtion

I am getting tired of seeing the same companies and forum members spread incorrect, ignorant information about car audio. More specifically, information within my industry of sound deadening.

SO, I would like to throw this out there:

There are too many fools running around selling roofing material as damper, making claims they are unable to back up, and continuing to sell crap even though it melts in cars and is toxic.

I am not asking anyone to buy Second Skin products. I only want to offer myself as a resource. Whether you buy SecondSkin or not, I will always offer honest technical and install support about my products, my competitors products and the industry as a whole.

I will not tell anyone to buy or not buy any specific product. I am not here to bash material. I am just willing provide the truth, even if it costs me business.

Not asking you to go through and pick apart competitors products, but if you could provide a brief detailed overview of those things you lined out above, I'm sure everyone here would be appreciative and learn a thing or two...myself included.

Give you a single point of reference as opposed to receiving 30 thousand e-mails regarding the same topic, aswell as a reference thread for everyone for future conversations on the topic

You know Ant, you should put together a FAQ. Then back that FAQ up with a Common Misinformation session. I love your products and have used them in quite a few applications with the exception of my own (hushmat fan myself). I would be happy to help you build such information so it is easy to navigate and can be quoted from on a regular basis.
