if that is your dream setup, its like dreaming that you won the lottery and got 1,000 as a prize. *woo*

maybe a possible 'i can afford in the future' setup. but hardly ground breaking equipment. i had an RF headunit, RFX9300, and it broke. never played mp3's. and when it got hot out the cd playback would get very distorted. and the display went out.

MB Quart QSD 213. well, the tweets in mb's are supposed to be very harsh. something i am not fond of. they look quite espensive, and for $400 id rather get a set of DLS or focal or the likes. never been a fan of mbquarts.

the w6 is a very sound quality oriented subwoofer. i like them, however they are quite overpriced for the end product. same with the 500.1. id rather get some (for a dream system that is) sinfoni or audison amps.

what is lacking is processing, sound deadening, installation, and gusto. if you want this as your dream system, you obviously have not been on the scene for too long. you might want to look around because these products arent dream system worthy in my eyes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i dont like your dream system. mine would probly be... 880PRS (justcuz its sexy, i know theres better) Focal No.7 components (OHHH YEEEAHHHHH) 4 18" Fi Q's, 4 SAZ-1500d's. big 3 (mentioned above) enough battery power, whole car deadened, and deadened again. big alty. this is a SQ setup obviously.

First off i would buy a new chevy Tahoe build a wall for 4 Fi BTL's fully loaded , all ran in kicker hyperflex 1/0 awg wiring , BIG 3 Ran also a Optima yellow top for the car , a kinetic 2400 2 of those , Rainbow components up front , all deadned , powered fun 4 sundown amps that would be my dream setup.

Personally I think the MBQuarts are pure ear ***. I have 2 sets in my Focus and love it! I have them off a cheaper Clarion 4 channel amp and I have yet to hear something as loud and clear to date. I am sure there is better out there, but for what they are, they are perfect for me. My point is just cause you dont like it, dont mean someone else wont think its heaven.

To the OP, I think you are on the right track. Maybe a different deck, cause I have had friends that have run those and they break very easily, but they are not bad if you can get them to play right. Highs look good and run off a good clean amp. I might check into a bigger amp for the sub, but looks good. Maybe a little pricey, but if you got the chedder, then go for it.

I have had my SPL dream system for the most part that did mid 150's on TL and I am currently working on my dream SQ system, but might be put on hold for a while with the baby coming.

Just make sure you deaden your car, do a big 3.... get a better alt if you need one and get some batteries. Having those are really important

If that's your dream system, knock yourself out. Would I buy any of those products for my dream system? No. But this isn't my thread, so I say go for it.

no its not... 4-18's are not an sq system..

yes. i belive installed and setup correctly it can be an SQ system. a loud one, but sound very, very good.

I had one for a day. Returned it because the faceplate design made it shake with an annoying noise while the car moved.
