Ok my friends stops a a well know audio shop in the area,I see a 3004spl premier 12 settin up on a table so I stopped and asked the guy how he likes them.He said he likes them and what not GREAT FOR THE MONEY he says.So I asked him what he would compare them to,he says a JL w3's, I have heard them they sound amazing but it was all that loud.Now I know the installers dont know shit but please tell me the Premier SPL series isnt gonna end up being "the best bang for the buck sub"(which I still believe) and turn out to be like the type r and not be much of nothing.This sub will smoke a W3 right? As far as loudness.

the 3004spl is accually a good sounding loud sub...i own the 10inch version the 2504 and i love it....if im not mistaken it gets louder than the JL but the w3 has a bit more soundquality

I had a pair of 12" 2004 SPL's, they got pretty loud and sounded great doing it.

OK that is what I figured,just had to check cause I was gonna buy a few a while,and I would have been pissed if I got a sub like a w3....for loudness atleast

Should toast the w3 for loudness. Shouldnt even be compared. They sound very good as well, I would say better than the w3. I have alpine type R's in my currnet install and love them, but wouldnt mind getting a couple of these to truly compare them.
