college transfer

im trying to transfer from my local community college to the university of north carolina , i've already sent in my online application but now i have to send in a signed printout with $40 and my transcripts but how does that work? i thaught for transcripts to be "offical" the instution has to send them? so do i have to goto my old highschool + college and have them mail them individually to the new college?

this is all just confusing to me becuase im sending in different forms at different times and i dont want to screw something up , if i send in my stuff but im forgetting something you think they would let me know ? i know this isent the place for college stuff but theres alotta college ppl on here and i need some help goin to a univeristy for the first time

you can get a copy of your transcripts sent to you or u can pick them up from your school. generally they are on the schools letterhead or watermarked w/ the school symbol and have a schools seal/notary seal on them.

nah i have a great gpa and i did really good on my sat like 1300ish and i know dumbasses that went to UNC (not to mention i graduated from a privet/classical high school)

i just dident know if sending in different documents at differnt times would affect anything

i heard ECU is a big party school... and hey its still not to far from fayetteville //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you cant figure out mailing an application on your own how do you think you will survive college, unless of course you are doing liberal arts or some stupid *** degree like that (no offence to the art kiddies out there). Seriously, did you even call the college to ask what to do, because I bet they know?

sometimes community colleges have joint admissions that allow you guaranteed admission into some pretty good schools that are involved in it. Check to see if they have joint admissions at your school.

ohhhh man, my friend is about to leave for UNC Wilmington...do you have any idea how much tail is at that school....!!! DO YA!!!! Girl to guy ratio is 9-1!!!!!! imagine walking around campus and seeing that ratio everywhere you go!!
