cold weather and plastic coned subs

have you ever heard of plastic coned subs cracking because of the cold?

i was just wondering because my friend has two kenwood 10s and he turned then on the other morning and just blasted them and he said that the cones were cracked right down the middle on both subs, i havnt seen them yet to see what happened but i was just wondering if they would crack when they get cold.

ya kenwood is shit and the one i got sittin in the back of my blazer cracked and it wasnt even hooked up

are kenwood decks pretty nice, though? my friend has one that is pretty clear and is practical, both looks- and features-wise.

Generally they are decent. I've had problems with the D-Mask feature though.

yeah i have heard a lot good about there decks, they are pretty good but i dont own one and dont plan on it. well maybee one day if the price is right.

Ya the kenwoods are junk. You are talkin about the tornados right? I do like Kenwood when they are the eXcelon series, but a little on the expensive side tho. My theory about decks is that the more plain they are the better they perform......assuming they are a high end deck. My friends Denon looks like shit and as matter of fact his cavalier got broken into a little while ago and the thieves took his wallet and cds but his his deck in the car. Panasonic for example, they include too many flashy features and the actual performace suffered.
