Snow is the only good thing about cold weather. Otherwise, it's just cold and miserable.

I remember having to walk 8 miles to school when i was younger ...rain snow or heat ...i had one river i had to swim in between ...and balencing my books and lunch pack on top of my head as I swam across...usually i was barefooted but occasionally could afford shoes...kids these days dont realize how good they have it ...

Does the temperature really change with the seasons in tropical regions though? I'm not saying Louisiana is tropical, but for example,is Hawaii really affected by the seasons?

I know Monsanto has a research and production station in Hawaii because they can grow there all year long. My dad used to go there frequently. I know it wouldn't get really cold there, but I wonder if they really have "seasons" in the traditional sense. Yes, I could indeed google that.
