Cold + Amp + Gas/Break = Amp Off, then back on?

Okay so I've had this problem for a week or two now. I've been trying to figure it out myself but I just can't seem to isolate the problem.

I've checked my wiring, and all *seems* to be fine. (Bad ground maybe? Haven't moved it...) Everything is held down and tight in its place. I DOUBLE checked.

Problem is...it's been constantly below freezing (almost every day is negative here in the deep winter of North Dakota.) My amp is COLLLDDDDD. To the point of where its hard to touch for more than 10 seconds. it's made of metal of all things. (Hifonics BX1000D)

It will turn on, but if I either hit the gas decently hard or break fast when driving, it'll shut off for 5-10 seconds, and turn back on. All is fine at idle.

I never had this problem in 4 years that I've had the amp. I RARELY have problems as I know a ton about car audio and electronics, but I need help with this one. I mean could the ground even move with that amount of G's? It's not even that bad of a problem, just annoying.

Any suggestions? I'm not change the ground until it warms up. Lol eff that it's REALLY COLD outside. If that's the problem I'll wait til spring...I'm getting a new car soon anyways.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks that's what I was thinking, but I've really not come across anything that is loose in any way. Could just be the wiring in the car considering its really only when I randomly go faster or slow down fast. If that's the case I won't worry about it considering I'll have a new vehicle soon. Anyone else have input?

Lol that's nothing. On a daily basis here for the past week it's been -20 (with wind chill) It's pretty **** cold. Even got to -30 one night. That was one hell of a morning the next day. Took like over a minute just for my car to turn over.

holy f*ck. Here in Miami we think 50 degrees is ungodly.

I'm really sorry, man.

As for your wiring problem, I'm at a loss. [i really don't know much about wiring]. But I'd say it was something loose. Just follow all of your main wires and jiggle them at the end and see if they are loose.

P.S. Good luck XD

I checked my wiring. I still can't find a reason as to why my amp is doing this. I have a remote bass dial, and if i watch that, it only goes off for about 1-2 seconds at the most. The amp doesn't go off when hitting bumps. Only when breaking or gasing. Someone please help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That actually is one thing I didn't really check. My fuse holder is broken too. That reminds me. I need to order a new one. Thanks man haha. I'll get back on if that fixes it or not.
