i worked at a real coffee shop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif where we didn't just press a button to get our shots, although it wouldve been nice to be able to do that.
Starbucks would never be able to make as much money as they do if they used those machines, as they take longer to pull shots.
We have done around 80ppl in half an hour on busy days. No way we could do that with that style machine and the people that work there. Some of the people I work with are just inept.
wow... thats quite a load of people. it can take upto 5 minutes to make a drink at our shop depending on how many people are working etc. The espresso machines though, there like prized items or something. PT's spent 17k on theirs, its the only one of its kind in america and the 6th to be built... there so proud of it heh
one thing i'm gonna have to get used to if i plan on sticking around for a while, is the *****Y *** CUSTOMERS! i've worked retail before, but i've never seen so many customers ***** in one day. but i guess they have a right, paying four dollars for a drink is expensive... but if some woman comes in with some crazy specific drink and is a *****....she gets the whole milk, not the skim she requested lol
