when someone says "soundstage" are they just referring to the sound from either the front of the vehicle compared to the back?

what about when doing kickpanels? mount the tweet in the kick or somewhere on the A-pillar?

soundstage usually depends on the auto and the ear, but in general, I enjoy midbass down low and tweet up high(dash or higher)

so you personally would mount the tweeter in the pillar? reason i ask is because im doing a comp set in the front doors and was thinking about a comp set for the kicks. is it better to do a comp set in the kicks or just buy a mid? also, if i do a comp set in the kicks, still mount the tweet in the pillar even though ill have one in the top of the door?

i like the sound of a midbass in the kick, comp mid in the door, and tweet up on dash or pillar(wherever is more convenient)
