If I were you I would call a lawyer and see if you can get someone to represent you in a lawsuit against your past employer due to the fact they illegally fired you for something you did on your own personal time which I know for a fact is illegal.
A buddy of mine was getting divorced and took a lunch break at the bar and had a few too many and ended up smashed. Unluckily (or luckily depending on how you look at it) the CEO walked in as he was stumbling to his car and going back to his shift and they terminated him that day.

After about six months and 4-5 court days he came out with a clean 25k after paying the lawyer. He is living pretty nice now went out and bought a pretty new F150 and the biggest pool Wal Mart had in stock for his kids.

I'm lookin into this shit. Might be mah payday that I deserve for puttin up with such bullshit.
