cng vehicles

Does anybody have any experience with cng(compresses natural gas) vehicles? I have been checking these out lately. Natural gas is relatively cheap out west. The main thing that concerns me is the danger of it when in a crash. The civic gx looks nice but i would hate to be locked in to a cng only vehicle and have that shoot up like gasoline has. What do you guys think about these.

The only concern I would have is the availability of the fuel. It sounds dumb but in reality, you will have to find a "service station" or places to fill up.

There is a few stations around my house.I wouldnt take a car like that on a long road trip since sometimes its hard enough to find gasoline in rural places. I seen a couple photos of cars that got burned and the cng one almost had no outer shell at all
