got a clarion 11551 mono amp.

2 months old, bought directly from crutchfield.

1500 watts rms, stable down to 2 ohms.

havnt ever pushed the amp past probably 700 watts.

i used it to power a jl w3v3 so obviously it wasnt pushing near what i can handle.

2 ohms - 1500

4- 850

will throw in a bass knob with the clarion also.. just bought it from crutchfield. 30 dollar bonus gift lol

300plus shipping

also got a JBL 4 channel.

4 ohms x 4 -60 watts rms

2 ohms x 4- 80 watts rms

also only used for about 2 months. also bought from crutchfield.

90 plus shipping

only selling because i want to buy a big belle from someone else on here. i rather have one big amp than two

as you can see by the pics, i just installed and mounted them, so their pretty **** new

yeah i saw that thread.. its one of the reasons i got it too

Because that clarion was designed by one of the best amp engineers in the business, and he said it sucks basically.
haha. well yeah i have heard its a really good amp.

but is the memphis better? he is right on one had, if the memphis were to blow.. id be out a whole amp completely.. if i have two, most likely they wont blow or **** up at the same time. so i think he is rght. but what would you guys suggest then? keeping the clarion over the memphis big belle?

Memphis doesn't like voltage drops. I don't know your situation, and honestly don't care, but those Clarions are good amps.
haha. well idc if you dont care, but some advice would still be nice.

The new model Clarion DPX11551 is a good amp, but the old model Clarion DPX11500 does a good bit more power.
Still a beast amp though. GLWS.
lol thanks man. guess i shouldve started a link with advice between keeping this amp and getting a big belle.

still a great amp, so i guess for now its up for sale

its not that im giving shitty advice im looking at what the specs thru my clarion catalogue tells me. i know that zeff design amps are good, but most of his amps are measured at 12 volts not 14.4 and your amp is rated at max power according to the catalogue if you want 1550 watts rms you have to put 16 volys to it.look at the specs from clarion

roberto id stay with the 2 amps, reason being if one amp goes bad you still have one for your system.if your going to sell one of them sell the clarion.not very good specs or clean power
Says who? Designed by Robert Zeff, specs are similar to the Arc KS1000.1. Have you checked the professional reviews? The Clarions do rated power.
