Clipping

I read around, but still have a few questions. Anyways, I just recently installed an AQ SDC2.5 15" running off an AQ 1200D and an Alpine iDA-X305 deck. Anyways, when I turn up the bass boost on the deck and stuff and then hit some good bass notes, the clipping indicator starts going off on my remote gain knob, and the gain is only set to about half way. It blinks when the bass hits, but it doesn't really stay on long, maybe just for the beginning of the note, but sometimes it stays on for about .5 seconds into the note or so.

You should turn off your bass boost for those good bass notes.

I don't see a question mark anywhere in there. If you turn the bassboost off, does the clipping stop? If so, problem solved.
