Clipping - Need Help

Problem is the sound in my car cuts when i turn volume up, is not even loud when it cuts. I've set gains to the lower setting and when i turn vol up cuts audio.

System consist of:

HU Pioneer DEH-P7950UB

Front speakers Alpine Spr-17s components 110rms

Rears Alpine Spr-17c coaxials 110 rms

Amp 4ch Alpine Mrp-f600 100rmsx4

Sub Alpine type r swr-1042d 500rms

Sub Amp Alpine mrp-m500

both amps power wired with 4gauge with 150a fuse (sub amp 60a 4ch amp 75a)

Also when the speakers cut the subwoofer keep sounding normally.

Please help! stock speakers sounded louder than this, let me know what could be wrong.

Check voltage, but my guess would be a bad ground. Even if the amps are grounded together and the sub amp does not cut out, it still could be a ground issue.

As I was checking the amps, I disconnect the rca for the rear speakers, and left the fronts, turn vol up and NO clipping!! fronts sounded excellent at high vol.

Then I connect rear rca to the front speakers and same results, no clip.

But tryin Front rca in rears result in clipping.

What can be happening, any Ideas?

sounds like either a bad solder joint inside or a blown driver channel on the amp. is it new? if it is warranty it out.

New, but no warranty..

Have you tried just the rca inputs to the amp with the fronts disconnected?

Yes, If I connect any rca (rear or front) to rear speakers with fronts disconnected it cuts.

I would try changing the speaker wires around first. If it still cuts out when you have the rears running off the fronts then you probably have a short in the speaker wire or possibly speaker grounding out. Or it could be the amp.

duh for me lolz i missed that 1 my bad so sorry. shoulda checked that first.
