i would not trust them, i dont know about accuracy. Autopawn is the only company that i know of at the moment.

i actually wish more car amps had this feature. almost every pro audio amp has this feature and it works great when setting up the gain structure. i've put an o-scope on the outputs of those amps and every time, the clip light is actually clipping before the sine wave clips. i'm sure they could incoporate this feature into car audio amps.

DD has them.

It was actually very nice I thought. When it clipped too much, it would turn the amp off.

my old infinity amp had this. it was great because this was the first amp i ever got and knew nothing about car audio. so i didn't know anything about clipping but knew it was bad so when the light started to go off i turned the gain down and it was gone!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

My Soundstream Rubicon 702 has them (as well as all of the Rubicon line IIRC)

Though I've never tested to see how accurate it actually is.
