lol its not a black & white film in that sense...yea it was shot in b&w due to its cheaper and also it was shot like that and grainy to imitate a survelliance camera....IMO clerks 2 doesnt look as funny. Salsa shark FTW!
Clerks 2 was hilarious IMO, it was the first movie I've seen in a while that was actually worth $7.75 to see.
I'd reccomend you rent clerks... it's a good movie.

It's not black and white in that sense? Black and white is black and white bro..lol. That takes away from the movie to me..obviously.

Well they didn't try to just make another clerks IMO, it's a different kind of movie IMO... that I personally enjoyed more than the first... not saying it's a better movie, just that it was more entertaining for me to watch.

yea i dled clerks 1 right be4 i saw clerks 2. Watching clerks 1 almost made me not wana see clerks 2 because of it being so boring, and the black and white added to it. Clerks 1 isnt even close to funny as clerks 2, you will be very disapointed.
To really love the older kevin smith movies... you have to see ALL of them.

i haven't seen the first one, but i went and saw the second one yesterday and it was the first movie i've seen in a long time that made me actually LOL!!

I actually prefer black and white. I recently purchased a TV and to my disappointment, B&W is no longer available nor do any TVs have a B&W option. I can't see colors very well and they tend to blend, but B&W I see very clearly.

Vulgar wasn't a Kevin Smith movie, he just happened to be in it. I will agree that it is the worst movie he, or anyone else for that matter, has ever been associated with. Brian O'Halloran is a douche bag and should not be allowed to have the lead role of any movie if not accompanied by "Randal".
Clerks II is awesome. I've seen it 3 times so far (going to find nerd glasses). Clerks I is also awesome, but in a different way. First time I saw Clerks I I thought it was kind of stupid, but if you actually listen to the dialogue it makes for a tremendously funny movie. Since then I've realized that dialogue is such an integral part of a good movie and I'm willing to put up with horrible camera work/shoddy directing/boring scenery if the characters are talking about something interesting. Kevin Smith, of course, excels at dialogue and I consider him to be one of the finest writters/directors out there today. So, everyone that hasn't go see Clerks II, right now, dammit.
