Hi all,
Thanks for the info on using a clay bar.
I went the lazy way and bought the Meguiars "all in one" kit...clay bar, mist detailer and wax...
It took approx 2 hours tops to completely clay and wax the car. Not bad at all.
Wow there was a bit less on my car than I exected but it was interesting to see how much came off especially on the bottom door panels...the worst. The rest of the car was relatively clean.
It even removed most of the tar specks right behind the front fenders caused by driving over a freshly paved road. The clay bar took most of it off and the cleaner wax took more off. The wax even removed a bit of red paint from a shopping cart.
My car's finish is so smooth and the wax has it shining like new.
Thanks again.
