I was wondering if clarion coax speakers would be any good? There costing me about 100 bucks from audio warehouse any other speakers you could get for that would be better for under 100 bucks from a retail store (either futureshop,visions or audio warehouse) saskatoon, like not form the net? The speaker size is 6 inch.

well...scince we cant really tell you what your local audio store carrys, you may have to give us the options that you have in your price range...or open your horizons and buy off of the internet...you might actually get what you pay for

From my experience the best coax speakers for the money are the pioneer Rev. series, but im not sure if you can get them for around 100.

The best coax speakers that retail for 100$ are the Infinity 6012i's. Which clarion model number are they? They must be the pro audio's if they are around 100$. If you are looking at the SRR1615's they retail for 59.95$ (I work at a authorized clarion dealer) If you are getting the SRR1615's for 60$ they are a great speaker for the money, I wouldn't pay 100$ for them though there are better speakers at that price.

I got a pair of clarion srs 1625's for 90 bucks, with tweeters, now im waiting on hte amp

I've owned to pairs of clarion speakers,both the plates. 5X7 and 4X6. I was amazed at how well they sounded. Better than I ever thought. The mid played lower than I thought as well. I'd get another pair w/o thought. As far as RF, they can kiss my a$$. That's me though, ther are people out there that swear by them.
