Clarion VRX575usb bypass question

I'm looking at getting a VRX575usb mostly because I used to love my old clarion 7" touchscreen (VRX755) I had awhile back. My question is I've heard that you can hook these up to a toggle switch to allow video viewing while the car is in motion. Why can't you just ground the wire that controls that feature like in some other decks including my old Clarion deck (vrx755)?

i have this radio,they are trying to make it harder to watch tv while driving. i have a switch, but you can twist the wires together ever time you cut the radio on 773-655-3405

Hmm really that's a bummer. Oh well I'l just spend the money somewhere else then. I know it's not a big deal but I can just use the money on some more performance goodies.
