small price diference but 6 vold preouts on the clarion and only 4 volt on the kenwood and i actually like the design of the clarion better but if its not as good as it looks then nvm

Alot of Clarion units dont have sub outs do they?...at least the lower end units?

wow lots of mixed reviews i really dont mind what they look like what i like bout the clarion is that the volume knob isnt one of the ones that goes up and side to side and shit i hate that but clarion also with the 6 volt preouts is higher than the kenwood 4

The Clarion might not have the better, smoother look, but between the Clarions and Kenwoods I've heard (which I can't say have been a whole lot, but a few), the Clarions have sounded better and have lasted. I had a CD player quite working on a Kenwood.

Some don't some do. That one does. The one's I've used, I've made sure they do.

I've owed 8 kenwoods hu's over the years. I had one that the cd player quit working, and another that had a flip down face that I hit with the gear shift on accident. Other than that, the other ones I got rid of just to upgrade.

I have had both. I think both bring some pretty high quality to the table. You won't really lose with either, but name brand only, i go with Clarion.
