Does anyone know what the largest capacity a usb device can be, that's hooked up to this HU?

Right now I just have a 2gb flash drive, but I'd like to use an 80gb or 120gb hard drive.

Input is appreciated. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Rear Panel USB Input: This unit integrates a convenient Rear-panel USB type-A port for connection of USB version 1.1/2.0 compatible portable audio players or thumb drives designated as USB Mass Storage Devices. The USB port is attached to a 42" cord which allows for placement versatility during installation. The USB input allows you to access up to 65,000 songs from a single USB device supporting data transfer rates of 12 Mbps and gives you the capability to view ID3 tag information. The USB input will support MP3, WMA and AAC files.
Tells me an 80 gig should be fine.

Wheher or not the HU will power it is the question. You may have to get external power. Only thing to do is try and see. Good luck.

I haven't bought a hard drive yet.

I might be getting one for x-mas or something.

But I might just buy a 40gb one if not.

I'll update when I get either a 40gb or an 80gb.

I have the 675usb and a hard drive does NOT work. The deck doesnt read it as a flash drive, even when formatted in FAT. On the plus side, it does power a 2.5" hard drive...though that doesnt help.

What size hard drive did you try?
