Clarion dpx 11500 mono amp?

Looking at buying one local from a shop. Has anyone had any experiance with them? Also what kind of price do they go for? I could only find little about them online. Mostly just specs. Anyone have any more info on them? Reliability and such?

funny how busy this site is, and only 1 responce, and over on canadiancaraudio,

Don't waste your time on that amp. They claim 1500 w @ 1 ohm, which is far from the truth. My buddy's shop did a bench test on that amp back in like November of last year, and they only got 1050w out of it at 1 ohm. I posted the final results on Ecoustics.com that same day. I think it retail's for about $400, but you can take my Orion HCCA D2400 off my hands for $300 it's BNIB, w/2 year warranty......LOL

agreed on the CEA rating BUT it 1500 watts at 2 and 1 ohm, the DPX1800 is 800watts at 1 and 2 ohms. clarion has finaly steped into the age of 1ohm stable amps.
