you can always do what im doin in my geo prizm....take out the back dash replace with a MDF figure 8 frame, lay down chicken wire and carpet ontop of that - 7 to 13 dB gain on avg..

sounds like a plan to me man

My Brother in law had a 94 Honda Accord Sedan with one 15 in it and it wouldnt get loud at all...it sounded ok but it just wasnt what i expected...

**** I knew I should of got a hatchback! This is actually my first car without one. I got to listen to that cheap setup in the Talon today and he was right. They were 2 MA Audio 12" subs in a ported box. Dude had this rabbits foot hanging off his rear view mirror and the bass was smacking that thing towards the front window.

So there's no way i can rig my trunk for hatchback quality bass? Also the box is gonna be big so it's going to be sitting basically up against the back of the car. Is this going to hamper anything? I had it designed by Elemental Designs for max SPL.

What about resealing my trunk with new weather strips and sealing off all cracks and holes with deadening?
