civics are great cars..and the weight to power ratio is seriously the best thing u could do for free..i wanna see what it puts to the wheels
iirc he said between 460-520 or something similar, new bolt ons + camcivics are great cars..and the weight to power ratio is seriously the best thing u could do for free..i wanna see what it puts to the wheels
Ill 2nd that...Hat off to the dude that built it:thumbcool:Because the Vette is totalled, the way the back end looks. It'd be a ****ing wicked sleeper if someone didn't notice the driver sitting back further than usual, or the sexy sound of an LS1. I'd rather see the LS1 go into an NSX, or an S2000, but meh.
Impressive work.
I Would take it to the honda dealership to get the spark plugs changed just so i could look at the peoples faces.
The V6 was quite appropriate for the cars time. Was plenty of motivation for a late 80's early 90's vehicle.
lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif read the first couple lines of thread you postedYou dont know what you're talking about.
Would it twist if he just threw the driveline in there? Possibly. Did nobody pay attention to the frame and bracing he built inside of it? There is no way it is going to twist. He knows what he's doing.Even if it does twist the idea is still tight.
This is just an assumption on why it would twist because the civic isn't designed to hold that much horsepower or torque and probablly isn't strong enough to withstand it. Then again that guy seemed like he knew what he was doing and probablly reinforced it or did something, I dunno I just looked at the pictures. Also I dunno what Im talking about just guessing.
POST 666... lol
Ummm..... did you read the thread?I honestly don't think a civic unibody would support the weight of that drivetrain without detrimental effects, letalone making power with it. Only a retard would put that engine in with no support.
